Abstract

The Buildings and Grounds Collection contains records about Pratt Institute's Brooklyn and Manhattan campuses, their buildings and features, and its development over time. The records date from 1849 to 2017 and include real estate documents, mentions of Pratt in the media, and development proposals, among others. Abstract

The Department of Exhibitions has hosted art exhibitions in various locations on and off the Pratt Institute campus approximately since 1896. The exhibitions primarily highlight work by students, faculty, and community members. Records maintained in the course of the department’s activities include item checklists, photographs, press releases, flyers, and catalogs. The items in this collection range from 1896 to 2023.

Abstract The Records of the Office of the President include reports submitted to and by the presidents from 1895 to 2015 as well as materials about each individual president and their inaugurations. The records also include paper records related to institutional advancement submitted to and by the presidents, administrative records from the Phoenix School (previously New York School of Applied Design for Women), as well as materials submitted to and by the Pratt Board of Trustees from 1892...

Abstract

The material contained in this collection document Pratt’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies between 1960 and 2011 and include ephemera, publications, reports, and catalogs pertaining to the different courses offered at the school.
